Sarah Minter retrospective in Mexico City begins tomorrow

Sara Minter flierA retrospective on the work of filmmaker Sarah Minter begins tomorrow in Mexico City at the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo at UNAM (MUAC). See the flyer (or the MUAC website) for a schedule.

Minter’s semi-documentary films on the punk scene in Ciudad Neza in the ’80s – Nadie es inocente (No one is Innocent) and Sábado de mierda (Saturday of Shit) – were important sources for a dissertation chapter, now a chapter in revision for my book project, ‘True’ politics and the non-student ‘student.’
