rjcgOn behalf of the Cultural Geography Specialty Group, I am co-organizing a panel session  with Weronika Kusek and Jordan Brasher for the 2017 meeting of the American Association of Geographers, as part of a transition in leadership at the Journal of Cultural Geography. Details below:

The future of the Journal of Cultural Geography, with featured panelist Alyson Greiner (Editor, 2002-2016)

This panel is convened to honor Dr. Alyson Greiner for her years of service to the discipline as Editor for the Journal of Cultural Geography. As a featured panelist, Dr. Greiner will discuss the history of the journal and her hopes for its future. A distinguished group of invited panelists will generate a wider discussion on the future of the journal as it relates to possible directions for the sub-discipline more generally.
